Minor League Sports Tip of the Week
Reducing the No Show rate for less desired dated:

The Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs- Andy Buster, Kurt Landes, Brian DeAngelis (now with the Winston Dash)

It’s no secret to baseball front offices at all levels that April and May dates are the least desired dates. To offset the negatives associated with unused seats, the Pigs offer an F&B credit to Full Season Members and half the size F&B credit for Half Season Members to all spring games. An extension of the idea could be to allow members to transfer seats into spring from more desired summer dates.

Major League Tip of the Week
Treating Renewals with the same passion as New Sales

Tampa Bay Lightening- Travis Pellymounter and Steve Griggs

Many teams role play as a training tool to help sales rep be better prepared on new business sales calls. The Lightening do it for new business and when preparing Reps to make renewal calls. In addition, to highlight the reps importance to the teams business success while sharpening the reps skills, Sr Management members block out time from their schedules to observe the role playing. Footnote: The Lightening do this regardless of having one of the leagues strongest renewal rates and a healthy waitlist.
