Ticket Sales Tip of the Week and the Stars behind them- Week #62
(Don’t be shy about adding value to sell premium seating)

What’s become more common is hearing about teams struggling to sell premium. This isn’t only a perception and revenue challenge, it can lead to a disaster when your premium customers sit in empty sections or are surrounded in the second half with kids like the 14 year old version of Harry Gundy and myself who were rejected 4x’s at a September Blue Jays game.

Major League Stars- Frances Traisman SVP of the Seattle Mariners
The Mariners allow their premium seat holders to transfer the committed spend to any ticket section or offering. Example: Trade in a week premium pair for 10 April midweek outfields to host a kids party.

Minor League Stars- Dan Mason GM of the Rochester Red Wings
By offering for $840.00 a 20 seat suite game day offering that includes baseline food, soda and water, the founding home of Xerox and Kodak (neither is a top 5 city employer today) have sold out every suite since mid May.
