Ticket Sales Tip of the Week #97
(Solving the membership dilemma- both sides want this to work)

Today I’ll include the biggest retention and new sales red flag, 5 traits of strong membership and the Stars growing ticket sales in ’25.

Retention Red Flag- If the big games are cheaper on the secondary.

New Sales Red Flag- If your secondary rate doesn’t waver (only declines before events) your ticket buying market will learn to be non committal.

Traits that support strong membership-
1) Cost below the per game market value. 2) Priceless experiences, access and value exclusive to the seats. 3) Flexible ticket exchange. 4) Dynamically priced correctly 5) Using Giveaways to increase the game ticket value.

Major League Stars- Antonio Morici SVP Dodgers
The Dodgers biggest gate and highest ticket value to support members isn’t a feature opponent or weekend but an April Wed with a premium giveaway.

Minor League Star- Gavin Riches AGM Colorado Eagles
To remain the only Minor League team to sell out every game, all promotions and Giveaways for the Eagles are connected to midweek games.

Special Mention- Frances Traisman SVP of the Seattle Mariners
To counter the low demand for NW coast weather in April , the Mariners have a promo for every April date game and allow members to exchange any game.
